Equal Pay

When Susan was a teacher for a decade that  experience led her later to champion equal pay for women workers.

Speeches

Susan and Elizabeth traveled the country and Susan gave speeches demanding that women be given the right to vote. At times, she risked being arrested for sharing her ideas in public.

NWSA

According to the book The fight for women's right to vote in May 1869 Susan and Lucy Stone created the new York-based national Woman Suffrade association. They crated AERA with AWSA

Arrested

Susan in 1872 led a small group of women to register and vote in the presidential election, everyone saw at risk beccause illegal voters could be fined up to $500 ad impisend for 3 years, two weeks after the election susan her friends and 3 election officers who had allowed the women to vote were arrested.

Coin

Basesd on the database Bill Authorizing the Susan B. Anthony Dollar Coin Statement on Signing S. 3036 Into Law. October 10, 1978. It was relised in 1979, and that for the first time in history on a coin there is  an image of a great American women. The "Anthony dollar" will symbolize for all American women the achievement of their unalienable right to vote. It will be a constant reminder of the continuing struggle for the equality of all Americans.
